Ziegler & Schneider, P.S.C., is a regional law firm servicing the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati area. Our office is conveniently located on Buttermilk Pike in Crescent Springs, KY, just minutes from downtown.
The law firm was founded in 1947 as a partnership of G.W. Hughes, Andrew W. Clark and D. Collins Lee, and was known as Hughes, Clark & Lee. Wilbert L. Ziegler, present Senior Member of the law firm, joined the surviving partners in 1958, and in turn, was joined in 1968 by David A. Schneider. The firm subsequently became Ziegler & Schneider. Will and Dave are currently actively practicing members of the firm.
Since the firm’s inception, Ziegler & Schneider has skillfully served the legal needs of individuals, businesses, and government organizations in the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati area. Whether it has been advocating on behalf of individuals, protecting the interests of local businesses, advising the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) for more than five decades, or counseling community leaders on the creation of public entities like the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK) and Boone County Public Library, Ziegler & Schneider has a decades-long record of commitment to the prosperity and growth of our clients.
The goal of the firm has always been to protect the interests of our clients and to craft innovative solutions to meet their evolving needs. We achieve this by:
- Maintaining a well-tenured and experienced group of attorneys;
- Measuring the value of our relationships over decades, not hours; and
- Ensuring the attorney you select is the attorney that will be with you every step of the way: today, tomorrow, and for many years to come.
Every partner at Ziegler & Schneider is a Lifetime Fellow of the Kentucky Bar Foundation. In addition, every attorney at the firm has been actively involved in the Northern Kentucky Bar Association (NKBA), either serving as an officer, a board member, a committee member, or a member. In the past, both Mike Duncan and Rob Ziegler have been elected by their peers to serve as President of the NKBA. Tom Smith, Dave Schneider, and Will Ziegler have received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the NKBA, which is given annually to an attorney who has made significant contributions to the legal community. The female attorneys in the firm have also been active in the NKBA’s Women Lawyers Section since its formation.

Ziegler & Schneider attorneys and staff pride themselves on being involved in community. The firm is a charter member of the Kentucky State Chamber of Commerce and the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. We contribute to the United Way fund drive each year and have financially supported Vision 2015 since its formation. The firm has helped BAWAC (a non-profit organization that provides work for adults with disabilities) with its legal needs on a pro bono basis for many years – several members of the firm are past or current members of BAWAC’s Board. Every Christmas, attorneys and staff donate gifts, clothing, and food to families in need, either through the Salvation Army, the Kenton County School District, or the military. Every attorney at the firm volunteered to assist families whose homes were damaged or destroyed by the tornadoes in the spring of 2012 with their legal needs. Ziegler & Schneider received the Pro Bono Award from the Northern Kentucky Bar Association in 1996 (each year, the NKBA recognizes a firm that has gone above and beyond the call of duty in providing legal services to persons who cannot afford legal representation).
In addition to the foregoing, the firm routinely sponsors and is involved with several other community organizations and charitable events, such as:
- Boone County Business Men
