Skyward names advisory council to help support implementation of the myNKY community plan Skyward, the engine behind the myNKY plan, a community-driven five-year strategic work plan designed to elevate Northern Kentucky, is pleased to announce the roster of individuals who will make up its inaugural Reaching Skyward Council (RSC).
The Council will be an advisory group of community stakeholders committed to Skyward’s successful implementation of the myNKY community plan. RSC members will promote the work of Skyward by acting as communications ambassadors, advocates, and change agents who gather regularly to discuss progress, share ideas, and problem-solve changes or roadblocks.
The RSC is modeled after the Regional Stewardship Council, which was an important part of the success of Vision 2015, the former identity of Skyward. The almost 60-person council is comprised of individuals with ties to Skyward funders and partner organizations, as well as community members who are committed to accelerating success in the areas of education, wellness, business, and community vibrancy – the four focus areas of the myNKY community plan.“Volunteers are imperative to the success of the myNKY plan,” said Skyward President, Bill Scheyer. “Assembling the RSC will ensure that the collective knowledge of the community is well represented as we continue to move further into the implementation phase.”
